The back, sides, and neck are fashioned from beautifully flamed maple. A rich, reddish-amber varnish, tastefully antiqued, protects the wood and enhances its natural beauty, giving the instrument a warm, vintage appearance reminiscent of classic Italian instruments.
Attention to detail extends to the instrument’s fittings. The CS1450 features ebony Parisian eye pegs and endbutton, offering smooth and precise tuning stability. A high-quality Despiau “B” level French bridge, known for its superior tonal qualities, is carefully fitted to optimize the string vibrations.
